Concerns Surrounding Ibrahimovic’s Transfer to Ajax

Noa Vahle celebrates the transfer of Maximilian Ibrahimovic to Ajax but expresses concerns about potential issues arising from the situation. Notably, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Maximilian’s father, had a tumultuous relationship with Rafael van der Vaart during their time at Ajax, which may create tension now that their sons are set to play together.

In a recent appearance on the talk show De Oranjewinter hosted by Hélène Hendriks, Vahle remarked, “I find it wonderful that he will be playing for Jong Ajax.” However, he pointed out the possible complications since Damián van der Vaart, Rafael’s son, is also on the team. “We all know that Rafael and Zlatan have an incredible dislike for one another,” he added.

Additionally, Vahle praised Ajax’s decision to allow Fred Grim to complete the season as the team’s coach. He stated, “I consider this one of the few prudent decisions the Ajax board has made in recent times. I believe there aren’t many coaches willing to step in at Ajax at this moment. We know that Jordi Cruijff will only officially start as the new technical director in February, giving him time to search for a coach.”
