Al Nassr continued their impressive start to the Saudi Pro League season, achieving a dominant 4-1 victory over Al Khaleej on Sunday. This remarkable performance featured goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and several other prominent signings from the club.

João Félix and Sadio Mané opened the scoring, while Ronaldo sealed the match with a spectacular overhead kick in the 96th minute. Defying his age, the 40-year-old superstar soared into the air to execute a stunning acrobatic finish, which even Al Khaleej’s goalkeeper, Anthony Moris, could not prevent, despite his attempt to block the shot.

This goal represents the 954th of Ronaldo’s prolific career and underscores Al Nassr’s impressive form, as they have now won all nine of their opening league matches, extending their lead at the top of the table to four points.

Ronaldo’s latest acrobatic strike adds to his illustrious repertoire, marking the fourth overhead kick in his extensive collection of goals. Among these, one notable effort was disallowed during a Euro 2008 qualifier against Azerbaijan on October 7, 2006. Ronaldo executed a bicycle kick that struck the underside of the bar, but was unfairly ruled out due to the absence of goal-line technology at the time.

In a FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Faroe Islands in 2018, Ronaldo showcased his skills with a scissor kick that opened the scoring in a 5-1 victory. Almost a year prior, he netted two goals in a UEFA Nations League match against Poland, with one being a remarkable leaping volley.

Arguably the most breathtaking overhead kick of Ronaldo’s career occurred during the 2017-18 UEFA Champions League quarterfinals, where he scored an unforgettable goal against Juventus. This stunning effort was recognized as the best goal of the tournament by UEFA, leaving goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon astonished.

Ronaldo’s recent overhead kick not only capped off an emphatic win for Al Nassr but also reinforced his status as one of football’s all-time greats.
