Daan Rots is optimistic about his younger brother, Mats, who is also his teammate at FC Twente, having a significant opportunity to join the Dutch national team in the future. This sentiment came to light following their recent 2-2 draw against NAC Breda.

In an interview with Voetbal International, Mats shared his perspective on their football journeys. He remarked, “Daan has faced considerable challenges during his time in the youth ranks at Twente, often nearing the brink of being let go. In contrast, I was promoted to higher teams earlier, which provided me with the right challenges. I believe this indicates that I may possess a bit more talent than he does, at least in football terms.”
