In an interview with Voetbal International, the head coach of Suriname discusses the current situation at Ajax, including the appointment of Jordi Cruijff, which he regards as a ‘good choice.’ Ten Cate states, “Jordi has a very fresh perspective on football. He is realistic and clear, perhaps a bit less romantic than his father. Additionally, he carries his name, which holds weight. Jordi has the favor of the fans. I know him personally, and he is a fantastic guy—very likable. I truly hope he can get things on track.”
