Deloitte has unveiled its Money League rankings for 2026, showcasing three Bundesliga teams in the top 20.

The Bundesliga representatives include Bayern Munich, positioned third; Borussia Dortmund in twelfth; and VfB Stuttgart, which has made a remarkable return to the rankings. Eintracht Frankfurt, however, narrowly missed the top 20, securing the twenty-first spot.

Bayern Munich, the current league leaders, generated €861 million in revenue during the 2024/25 season, reflecting a 12% increase from the previous season. This revenue surge is attributed to their participation in the Club World Cup, enabling them to rise two places in the rankings compared to last year.

The majority of Bayern’s revenue is derived from commercial deals, valued at €461 million, while their broadcasting revenue stands at €252 million.

Borussia Dortmund also participated in the Club World Cup this past summer, resulting in an increase in their broadcasting revenue from €206 million to €227 million. Nevertheless, their overall revenue saw a modest 3% increase, totaling €531 million for the 2024/25 season, along with a slight decline in commercial revenue, which decreased from €215 million to €209 million.

VfB Stuttgart has emerged as a surprise contender within the top 20. They have returned to the Money League for the first time since the 2009/10 season, thanks to a staggering 79% increase in revenue, totaling €296 million. This growth is primarily due to a significant rise in broadcasting revenue from €51 million to €121 million, attributable to their Champions League participation, along with an increase in matchday revenue, which rose from €37 million to €70 million following the completion of stadium renovations.

As a result, Stuttgart has surpassed established Premier League clubs such as West Ham, Brighton, and Everton in the rankings.

Lastly, Eintracht Frankfurt stands as the only other Bundesliga team within the top 30 of the Money League, finishing in twenty-first place with a revenue of €269.9 million.
