Dennis Geiger Joins Aberdeen on Loan from HoffenheimDennis Geiger Joins Aberdeen on Loan from Hoffenheim

Hoffenheim midfielder Dennis Geiger’s transfer to Aberdeen has been officially confirmed. Geiger is set to join the club under the guidance of newly appointed sporting director Lutz Pfannenstiel. Reports indicate that the agreement includes a purchase option.

In his initial statement on Hoffenheim’s website, Geiger expressed his enthusiasm about the move, stating, “I’m very happy to be here. I can’t wait to get to know the people at the club and the fans, as well as learn more about the city. [Lutz Pfannenstiel] made it clear to me how much Aberdeen wanted me here, so the decision was easy. It’s a chance for a fresh start and an opportunity to step out of my ‘comfort zone.’”

TSG sporting director Andreas Shicker commented on Geiger’s departure, saying, “Dennis is a true product of TSG’s youth academy and has been an integral part of the professional team for years. He has developed from an academy player to a Bundesliga professional with us, making him a strong example of the TSG way. The aim of this loan is for him to gain playing time in Scotland and rediscover his rhythm.”
