Dennis te Kloese’s Dual Role at Feyenoord Under Review

Dennis te Kloese is presently fulfilling a dual role at Feyenoord, serving as both the General Director and the Technical Director. However, changes appear imminent. According to Chris Woerts, there are two candidates under consideration to assume the Technical Director position.

In a recent discussion on the show ‘Vandaag Inside’, Wilfred Genee addressed Woerts, stating, “You will soon announce who the new Technical Director of Feyenoord will be.” Woerts emphasized that Feyenoord has reached a point where they recognize the need to separate the responsibilities of the Technical Director from those of the General Director.

Te Kloese himself mentioned earlier this week during a New Year reception that his dual role would undergo critical evaluation. He remarked, “I believe that there must be scrutiny directed toward me when things do not go as planned. If both the General and Technical Directors claim that nothing falls within their remit, that is simply not accurate. Therefore, a thorough analysis of my performance is necessary. However, it is also important to note that it is this dual role that has contributed to our current position, but I will not assert that as an excuse—it would be too simplistic.”
