Erik ten Hag Transitions from Coach to Technical Director at FC Twente

In a notable career transition, Erik ten Hag is moving from the role of a top coach to that of a technical director at FC Twente, despite having a potentially promising future ahead as a trainer.

In an interview with the club’s channels, Ten Hag elaborated on his appointment and addressed a pressing question regarding his future aspirations in coaching.

“FC Twente has navigated through a turbulent period but has since entered a phase of stability. The club is now financially sound and has established a solid foundation in its football operations. Our aim is to strengthen this foundation,” stated the newly appointed director. “While this is certainly a different role, I am fully aware of the responsibilities it entails. I will still be present on the pitch, albeit no longer in my coaching attire. My focus will be on facilitating the main coach’s efforts.”
