In light of the 1-2 loss at Johan Cruijff ArenA, interim coach Fred Grim addressed Ziggo Sport, stating: “The conclusion is that our performance at this level is not sufficient. We are on the path to improvement, but there is still much to be done. If we analyze our defensive play in the first half—being compact, aggressive, and holding our ground in our own penalty area—we must acknowledge that we’ve allowed goals too easily after the break.”
