Feyenoord Considers Winter Sale of Quinten Timber

Feyenoord is preparing for the possibility of a winter departure for Quinten Timber. The midfielder’s contract is nearing its expiry, prompting the Rotterdam club to consider selling him during the upcoming transfer window. This would allow them to secure a substantial fee for Timber, and as a result, they are already evaluating potential successors.

One of the names being mentioned is Stije Resink, a midfielder currently with FC Groningen. In the Dick voor Mekaar podcast by Voetbal International, Feyenoord analyst Martijn Krabbendam highlighted Resink as a viable option. He stated, “If a club approaches for Timber in the winter, and you bring in Resink from Groningen, I believe they are exploring that possibility right now.” Analyst Mario Been also views the Groningen midfielder as an excellent candidate for Feyenoord.
