Mats Deijl is on the verge of leaving Go Ahead Eagles to join Feyenoord, as reported by various media outlets this afternoon. The Rotterdam club is also nearing its next acquisition aimed at strengthening their defense this winter.

Feyenoord has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Jeremiah St. Juste for a winter transfer. According to multiple sources, the defender underwent medical tests on Monday, and a preliminary contract agreement has been established with him.

St. Juste is expected to remain with Feyenoord for the upcoming season. Efforts are currently underway to finalize the remaining details, with no further issues anticipated. This afternoon, Sporting finalized the last aspects of the agreement with St. Juste, allowing for the completion of his transfer to Feyenoord. It appears that only paperwork and minor details remain. Once these final adjustments are made, St. Juste is likely to return to De Kuip on a free transfer, signing a contract for a duration of one and a half years.

The Groningen native previously played for Feyenoord from 2017 to 2019 after joining from sc Heerenveen. Following a stint at FSV Mainz 05, he joined Sporting in 2022.
