A significant portion of Feyenoord’s fanbase appears to be losing hope, yet the club’s management is not currently considering the dismissal of Robin van Persie. According to RTV Rijnmond, the head coach remains firmly in his position despite the ongoing sporting crisis.

Feyenoord had a strong start to the season, leading comfortably in the Eredivisie, but the team now faces the possibility of missing out on the second and third places. Following the 2-2 draw against Heerenveen, Dennis van Eersel noted, “If you listen closely now, he is still firmly in his seat. The next two league matches must not result in any dropped points.”

The effectiveness of a coaching change is debatable, according to Van Eersel. “You must be very certain that the issues are solely due to the coach. This would only be the case if you hear unanimously from the squad that they have lost faith in him,” he stated. “Those are simply not the signals we are receiving. Is everything perfect?
