As the transfer deadline approaches, Feyenoord’s offices remain bustling with activity. According to transfer expert Martijn Krabbendam, sporting director Dennis te Kloese is still negotiating the acquisition of one additional player. This was revealed during the Transfer Deadline Show on Voetbal International.

Feyenoord is focusing on securing a second goalkeeper following the departure of Justin Bijlow. Currently, Liam Bossin serves as the second-choice goalkeeper, but the club recognizes the need for a more experienced option. Additionally, Te Kloese is exploring the possibility of signing another player, although specific details regarding the position remain undisclosed. Krabbendam notes, “They are working on another player, which could be an attacker or a central defender,” but no names have been mentioned.

On Tuesday evening, just before 11 PM, Feyenoord officially secured their desired second goalkeeper: Steven Benda from Fulham. The club had also sought to acquire Seny Dieng from Middlesbrough, with both clubs agreeing on a loan deal for the keeper; however, the transfer fell through at the last moment.
