Feyenoord s Transfer Rumors Insights from Martijn KrabbendamFeyenoord s Transfer Rumors Insights from Martijn Krabbendam

In a recent episode of the podcast “Dick Voor Mekaar,” Martijn Krabbendam addressed the latest transfer rumors regarding Feyenoord. He clarified that speculations surrounding Oliver Antman from Rangers FC are unfounded.

Krabbendam stated, “The club is actively pursuing new players. Names like Antman from Rangers have surfaced, but that is not the case. Various goalkeeper names have also been mentioned, which we have checked, and those rumors are untrue as well. I am curious about Feyenoord’s ongoing activities.” He noted that Cyle Larin has expressed a desire to leave the club with the World Cup in mind, while Casper Tengstedt is also contemplating a departure. However, he pointed out that Robin van Persie’s injury complicates matters for these players.

On the topic of defensive reinforcements, Krabbendam mentioned, “They have acquired St. Juste for the defense, but it remains uncertain how fit he is at the moment. While he is fit for training, he may not be ready to play in matches immediately. With the addition of Deijl, they are attempting to shore up their defense. Future signings will likely fall within a certain category—affordable players like Deijl or those looking to leave their current clubs, such as St. Juste. The expectation is that Feyenoord will not be paying millions for new recruits.”
