omidbasir- Feyenoord will embark on a mini training camp in the upcoming week, allowing Raheem Sterling to participate in several training sessions with the team, despite not yet having his work permit. This was confirmed by coach Robin van Persie following their 1-0 victory against Go Ahead Eagles.

“We will be going abroad for one and a half to two days,” Van Persie stated. “It won’t be a long distance, as we are not heading to Mexico. The primary purpose is to enable Raheem’s involvement. Additionally, it offers an excellent opportunity for us to enhance our team culture and engage in meaningful conversations. We can also have some enjoyable activities together, which is important for team bonding.”

In the match against Go Ahead, it became evident that there is still much work to be done. Captain Anis Hadj Moussa remarked on ESPN after the game: “It’s incredible that we hadn’t scored earlier today. Ultimately, we did find the net and securing the three points is what matters most. Sometimes it’s challenging to score, but we persisted until the end. We are pleased with the victory, but we definitely should have scored sooner.”
