Oscar Bobb, who missed a significant portion of last season due to a fractured leg, is the subject of transfer talks between Fulham and Manchester City.

The 22-year-old winger has found himself lower in the pecking order at City, especially after the recent £62.5 million acquisition of forward Antoine Semenyo. Sources have informed BBC Sport that discussions between the two clubs have commenced, although Fulham has yet to submit an official offer.

Bobb has garnered attention from Bundesliga team Borussia Dortmund as well. This season, he has made 15 appearances for Manchester City without finding the back of the net. His last match was on December 17 against Brentford in the Carabao Cup, where he unfortunately sustained an injury early in the game.

Ahead of City’s Champions League match against Bodo/Glimt, manager Pep Guardiola commented on Bobb’s fitness, stating: “He says he is not fit, so he is not fit.”

The addition of Semenyo has intensified competition on the right wing, alongside Brazilian Savinho, leading to speculation that Bobb could be permitted to leave, either on loan or in a permanent transfer, this month.

Currently, Fulham is enjoying a solid run of form under coach Marco Silva, having lost only one of their last seven matches and sitting 11th in the league standings while also progressing to the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Bobb has represented Norway six times this year, contributing to the team’s qualification for the upcoming World Cup, and he would join compatriot Sander Berge at Craven Cottage. Notably, he was sidelined for most of the previous season due to a leg injury sustained during training in August 2024.
