According to various English outlets, Fulham has not abandoned hope of signing Ricardo Pepi. It was previously reported that their initial bid for the American forward, currently playing for the Eredivisie leaders, was turned down.

Pepi, a goal-scoring sensation in Eindhoven, made his move to Europe in the winter of 2022 from Dallas. The Bundesliga club Augsburg invested €16 million for his transfer at that time. After half a season in Germany, Augsburg loaned him to FC Groningen for a year.
