Fulham Secures 27 Million Deal for Oscar Bobb from Manchester CityFulham Secures 27 Million Deal for Oscar Bobb from Manchester City

omidbasir- Oscar Bobb, who missed nearly the entirety of last season due to a fractured leg, is set to join Fulham following a £27 million agreement with Manchester City.

Recent reports from BBC Sport indicated that negotiations between the two clubs were progressing well. Reliable sources have now confirmed that an agreement has been finalized for the attacker to make his move to Fulham.

As part of the deal, Manchester City will retain a 20% sell-on clause and matching rights for any future offers made for Bobb by the Cottagers. This strategy was previously demonstrated when City re-signed goalkeeper James Trafford from Burnley after the Clarets accepted a bid from Newcastle.

Bobb has seen his opportunities diminish at City, particularly following the January signing of Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth. Manager Pep Guardiola addressed the situation, acknowledging the ongoing rumors and confirming, “I think so,” when asked if Bobb wishes to leave the club.

Despite having featured 15 times for City this season without finding the net, Bobb has attracted interest from clubs such as Borussia Dortmund. His last appearance was on December 17 against Brentford in the Carabao Cup, where he was injured within the first 20 minutes.

Under the management of Marco Silva, Fulham has been performing well, having lost only one of their last seven Premier League matches, currently sitting seventh in the table following a recent 2-1 victory over Brighton.

Bobb has also represented Norway six times this year, contributing to their qualification for the upcoming World Cup, and will reunite with compatriot Sander Berge at Craven Cottage. It is worth noting that he missed almost the entire previous season due to a leg injury sustained during training in August 2024.

Additionally, Fulham has made a £28 million bid to acquire PSV Eindhoven forward Ricardo Pepi.
