Fulham s Pursuit of Ricardo Pepi PSV Holds Firm on ValuationFulham s Pursuit of Ricardo Pepi PSV Holds Firm on Valuation

In recent weeks, Fulham has shown considerable interest in acquiring Ricardo Pepi. However, it appears unlikely that the American striker will leave PSV Eindhoven this winter. On the Transfermind podcast, Mounir Boualin indicated that PSV would only consider discussions at a valuation starting at €45 million.

Pepi has long been regarded as one of the most intriguing talents at PSV for international clubs. Last season, he was frequently linked to a move to the Premier League. This winter, Fulham renewed its efforts to secure the American international, yet their bid, reportedly between €30 million and €35 million, failed to persuade PSV.

“We have no intention of selling Ricardo, even for a higher offer. Right now, it doesn’t make sense to consider such matters, as that bid has not been made,” acknowledged technical director Earnest Stewart in a recent conversation with Voetbal International.

Does Earnest Stewart risk too much by rejecting Fulham’s substantial offer? Boualin firmly disagrees, stating, “I don’t believe it’s a significant risk. There will always be clubs in the summer willing to make a similar bid, and the amount could even increase.”
