Despite facing a difficult few months, the million-euro signing maintains a positive outlook. “What truly matters to the fans is what you display on the field. People do not see the effort I put in off the pitch and the hard work I invest. In my mind, it works the same way. I have performed well outside of the game, but my contributions during matches have not been sufficient,” Borges shared with RTV Rijnmond.
