Growing Dissent Among Feyenoord Supporters Regarding Robin van Persie

An increasing number of Feyenoord supporters are turning against Robin van Persie. While general director Dennis te Kloese is also facing criticism, it appears that only one of the two might need to worry about their job security.

Mikos Gouka has noted that support for Van Persie is rapidly diminishing. “Yes, there are very few people who still believe that Van Persie should remain in his position for the time being,” the AD journalist commented on FC Rijnmond. There is still backing from the club leadership, partly due to their current second-place standing in the league. “If that situation changes, the internal sentiment towards Van Persie may also shift accordingly,” remarks Dennis Kranenburg.
