Henk ten Cate Critiques Ajax’s Current Performance and Coaching Decisions

Henk ten Cate has publicly criticized Ajax’s performance, describing their current style of play as “disheartening.” He questions the rationale behind allowing Fred Grim to continue as interim coach for the remainder of the season.

“It’s concerning to see them employing a 5-4-1 formation against Telstar; it’s simply unbelievable. While it’s nice that they are managing to secure points with Fred Grim, I find it entirely unsatisfactory. I believe it would be more beneficial for them to appoint a coach who can begin preparing for the style of play they intend to adopt next season. However, that’s just my perspective,” Ten Cate stated in an interview with Voetbal International.
