Heracles Almelo Signs Lequincio Zeefuik on Loan from AZ

Heracles Almelo has announced the signing of Lequincio Zeefuik, a 21-year-old forward, on loan from AZ, just a day after the departure of Jizz Hornkamp. Both clubs confirmed the arrangement on their respective online platforms. Zeefuik will join Heracles for the remainder of the season, with an option to buy included in the agreement.

Despite his young age, Zeefuik has already amassed over a hundred appearances in professional football. Two years ago, AZ acquired him for half a million euros from FC Volendam. However, he struggled to establish himself in Alkmaar and largely played for Jong AZ. At Heracles Almelo, he will have the opportunity to demonstrate his skills in the Eredivisie, effectively stepping in as the successor to Hornkamp, who has moved in the opposite direction.
