omidbasir- Following Saturday evening’s MRI scans, Eintracht Frankfurt has released updates regarding the injuries of Arnaud Kalimuendo and Rasmus Kristensen. There is unexpected positive news regarding striker Kalimuendo; however, there are growing concerns within the defensive lineup after the assessment of Kristensen.

Eintracht’s official statement indicated that the Danish fullback’s ankle injury necessitated “further examination.” However, Sport Bild reports that Kristensen has sustained a serious ligament injury, which may result in him being sidelined for several months, potentially extending into the end of the season.

The German tabloid suggests that the “further examinations” are indicative of Eintracht’s efforts to seek a second opinion. With defender Arthur Theate also anticipated to miss several months, the RheinMainAdler are hopeful they will not lose another key player.

In contrast, the club’s statement regarding Kalimuendo noted, “Examinations have shown that his shoulder injury is not serious. A long-term absence is not currently expected.”
