Isco Alarcón and Sofyan Amrabat underwent medical evaluations on Friday at Viamed Santa Ángela de la Cruz in Sevilla. The medical staff confirmed that neither player suffered any bone injuries following a significant collision during yesterday’s Europa League match against Utrecht, where Amrabat attempted to score from outside the area while Isco was attempting to control the ball.

The return of both players to training will depend on their recovery progress. Isco received seven stitches due to a laceration sustained in addition to the impact. Meanwhile, Amrabat was able to leave the field on his own. The attacking midfielder has been ruled out of the upcoming Sevilla derby this Sunday. According to coach Manuel Pellegrini, the pivot is also unlikely to participate, although the absence of a major injury allows him to explore options for potentially joining the match against Sevilla.

As Isco and Amrabat were being assessed at Viamed, their teammate Gio Lo Celso was undergoing examinations at the Arduán Clinic to monitor ongoing discomfort he has experienced in recent days. The Argentine has not completely ruled out his participation in the derby on Sunday, although it appears challenging for him to be available. Notably, Pau López is confirmed to miss the match despite returning to training today, along with the injured Bellerín, Isco, and the suspended Antony.
