omidbasir- Inter Miami CF has officially announced the signing of Canadian goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair, who will remain with the club through the conclusion of the 2026 Major League Soccer season, with an option to extend into the spring of 2027.

St. Clair joins Inter Miami after a successful tenure at Minnesota United FC, where he achieved 37 clean sheets in 174 MLS appearances. His outstanding performance earned him the prestigious Goalkeeper of the Year award in 2025, as well as two All-Star selections in 2022 and 2025.

As the latest addition to the Miami roster, St. Clair joins defenders Facundo Mura and Sergio Reguilón in anticipation of the upcoming 2026 campaign. ESPN sources indicate that further roster changes are expected during the ongoing transfer window.

A source familiar with the developments confirmed that Inter Miami has finalized a loan agreement to acquire Palmeiras defender Micael for the 2026 season. Micael brings prior MLS experience, having played for Houston Dynamo FC from 2022 to 2024 before transferring to the Brazilian club.

Additionally, it has been confirmed that Inter Miami players Tadeo Allende and Rocco Rios Novos will rejoin the squad for the upcoming season following the expiration of their initial loan agreements. After the conclusion of the 2025 campaign, the club engaged in negotiations to retain both players.

In light of Inter Miami’s MLS Cup victory on December 6, the team also announced that veteran striker Luis Suárez has extended his contract through the end of the 2026 season.

Inter Miami is set to kick off the 2026 season at home against LAFC on February 21.
