Jack Grealish Announces Season Conclusion Following SurgeryJack Grealish Announces Season Conclusion Following Surgery

Everton forward Jack Grealish has officially announced that his season has concluded following surgery for a foot injury he sustained in January.

Grealish has made a significant impact on Merseyside since his arrival on a season-long loan from Manchester City last summer. Unfortunately, his time with the club will now end on a disappointing note.

The 30-year-old has recorded two goals and six assists in the Premier League, establishing himself as a key player for manager David Moyes. However, concerns regarding the severity of his injury were raised by Moyes, and those fears have now been confirmed.

“I didn’t want the season to end like this, but that’s football. I’m gutted,” Grealish expressed on social media. “Surgery is complete, and now my focus is solely on returning to fitness. I am determined to come back fitter, stronger, and better than before.

“The support I’ve received since joining this incredible club has meant everything to me. The staff, my teammates, and especially the fans have been phenomenal, and I genuinely love representing this club.”

Grealish also acknowledged that his surgery effectively eliminates any chance of being selected for Thomas Tuchel’s England squad for the World Cup this summer in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

“I will be cheering on the lads and doing everything I can to return as soon as possible. Thank you again for all the love; it means so much to me.”
