Jan Boskamp’s Health Struggles and Recovery Journey

Jan Boskamp has been battling health issues for several years. Recently, he has faced particularly challenging times, as he discussed during an interview with Sportnieuws.

The beloved public figure spent five weeks in the hospital due to serious illness. “I have been extremely unwell, but my condition is now improving, albeit with ups and downs, compared to a month ago. I was hospitalized for a total of five weeks,” Boskamp shared. “At one point, I was unable to walk. It was a very dire situation.”

In an earlier interview with Het Belang van Limburg in July, Boskamp admitted, “To be honest, I felt quite miserable over the past three months. I was as weak as a wet cloth, barely went outside, and had to miss the last two matches of Feyenoord. It was that severe.” Fortunately, he noted, “Things started to improve after my doctor adjusted my pacemaker. Since then, I have been feeling much better. This week, I even managed to use my stationary bike a few times. You haven’t seen the last of me yet.”
