He stated, “I will soon attempt to cautiously explore the possibility of returning to on-air duties.”

Van Gangelen has also been silent on social media. Almost a year ago, he last posted: “For some time now, I have felt like I am figuratively overwhelmed. I find myself feeling unwell more frequently, which has ultimately impacted my health.”
