omidbasir- Jari de Busser has voiced significant criticism towards the officiating following the match between Feyenoord and Go Ahead Eagles. The game, held at De Kuip, saw a penalty awarded in injury time, converting a 1-0 lead for Feyenoord through Casper Tengstedt, who also earned the penalty.

The Go Ahead goalkeeper remarked, “There may have been light contact, but the referee seized his opportunity to blow the whistle,” expressing his irritation in an interview with RTV Oost.

His coach, Melvin Boel, echoed this sentiment earlier on ESPN, stating, “A top club penalty? I certainly hope so. If this is considered a regular penalty, I would genuinely worry about the officiating standards in the Netherlands. Evert Linthorst didn’t even see the incident. Tengstedt touched the ball but was not thrown off balance. If this is awarded as a penalty, one can only conclude that the referee favored Feyenoord over us.” Notably, Go Ahead Eagles were not awarded a penalty when Ayase Ueda made contact with Mathis Suray.
