Liverpool FC has announced the signing of Swedish goalkeeper Jennifer Falk on loan from BK Hacken for the remainder of the season.

The 32-year-old goalkeeper gained recognition after saving four penalties during a dramatic shootout against England at last summer’s European Championship.

Falk is the second player Liverpool has acquired from Hacken this month, following the signing of Alice Bergstrom last week.

Expressing her enthusiasm about the move, Falk stated, “I’m very happy and very excited to be here. Playing in this league has been a dream of mine, and to join such a prominent club is truly fulfilling. I think the environment here is amazing; it’s cozy yet expansive, and it has everything you could need. It feels wonderful to see it all firsthand.”
