Joey Veerman appears poised to depart from PSV this summer at a relatively low cost. Club correspondent Rik Elfrink anticipates that the Eindhoven team will earn less than twenty million euros in transfer fees compared to this winter’s expectations.

PSV misses out on a significant windfall with Joey Veerman’s exit. Veerman appeared destined to leave the club last month, with Turkish side Fenerbahçe expressing concrete interest. Ultimately, however, the midfielder chose to withdraw from the potential transfer, stating, “After the initial contact, there was a gap of about two and a half weeks during which various developments occurred, and perhaps some did not. I ultimately decided to pull the plug on the transfer,” he recently shared with ESPN.

PSV has successfully retained several key players this winter. Although foreign clubs expressed interest in Ivan Perisic and Ricardo Pepi, both players opted to remain with the Eindhoven club.
