Jordi Cruijff’s Appointment as Ajax Technical Director Still Pending

Jordi Cruijff has not yet been officially appointed as the technical director of Ajax. Previously, the Amsterdam club announced a verbal agreement; however, the signatures on a long-term contract are still absent.

Concerns regarding Johan Cruijff’s position at Ajax are emerging. In a recent podcast, Bas Soetenhorst noted that the anticipated confirmation is taking longer than expected. “He is supposed to start at the beginning of February,” he pointed out. “I understand that there are still some details that need to be finalized, which have not yet been completed. However, I do expect that it will eventually happen.”
