He explained how he mistakenly wore a set of pajamas to the game, believing it to be an oversized tracksuit. This wardrobe faux pas only came to light when Coleen checked the label after the match, revealing his outfit was inappropriate for the occasion.

In his recounting, Wayne noted, “I had a full-on 10-minute conversation with Jason Wilcox in my pajamas,” highlighting the humorous side of his mistake. He further reflected on the proud moment of witnessing Kai on the pitch, recalling that the young player remarked about the size of Old Trafford’s pitch, a sentiment echoed by former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard.

Wayne also praised interim manager Michael Carrick for his genuine interest in the club’s academy, contrasting it with the previous regime’s lack of engagement. He expressed the importance of first-team staff attending youth games, which can uplift both players and their families.
