Kareem Tunde: Rising Star at Levante

Kareem Tunde has recently become one of the most pleasant surprises for Levante. The player has quickly established himself as an important asset under coach Luís Castro. Despite his transition from the Third Division to the First Division, the Catalan shows remarkable composure on the field.

Tunde remarked, “The change has been rapid, but it’s all about hard work. My focus is on enjoying this experience, continuing to work hard, and staying true to myself.”

He emphasized, “I concentrate on being myself and putting in the effort. I aim to be brave, utilize my skills, and work for the team.”

Reflecting on his debut, he stated, “This is a moment I have always awaited. When I stepped onto the pitch, I aimed to be myself, which was also the message from my teammates. I am thrilled to be part of Levante.”

Tunde further explained, “I strive to be myself, to play energetically, contribute significantly to the team, and maintain my performance level. I focus on both defense and attack.”

He spoke about his relationship with teammate Paco, saying, “Playing alongside Paco is a pleasure. We share a great bond off the field, and our understanding on the pitch is excellent.”

Expressing his playing style, Tunde mentioned, “I enjoy sticking to the wing, as I believe that’s where I can be most effective. My strengths lie in making decisive runs and one-on-one situations. I consider myself versatile and am committed to defensive efforts as well.”

The coach has encouraged the team to be assertive and proactive. Tunde noted, “The manager asks us to be daring and to create opportunities. Ultimately, he wants us to be ourselves.”

With four seasons at Levante under his belt, Tunde said, “I focus on working hard every day and contributing to the team. I feel very comfortable here, and my agents are aware of my commitment.”

He concluded, “We will continue on the same path, being courageous and applying pressure. If we maintain this approach, we will be on the right track.”

Regarding his scoring ability, Tunde expressed, “I believe I have the potential to score and contribute in that regard. However, it’s not something I obsess over. I can also contribute in other areas, such as work rate and explosiveness.”
