In his assessment of the first half of the season, Perez discusses the team coached by Robin Veldman. He notes, “The inconsistency of Heerenveen is frustrating. They receive a score of 9 one week, only to drop to a 3 the following week. This makes preparation challenging as an analyst,” he stated on the ESPN website.

Conversely, Perez commends the newly promoted Telstar for their performance. “They play well, and their coach, Anthony Correia, is fantastic,” he remarked. “Initially, I doubted their capabilities, but they have proven to be a great addition to the VriendenLoterij Eredivisie. Unfortunately, they aren’t accumulating enough points, which could hinder their progress despite their promising style of play.”
