This season, the midfielder has been struggling with his form, prompting Van Marwijk to question whether he will succeed in an international venture.

In his column for De Telegraaf, Van Marwijk stated, “It is disappointing for Ajax, and as I understand it, also for the player himself that Kenneth Taylor has not yet made a significant transfer.” Under the management of Francesco Farioli, Taylor excelled, yet he remains in Amsterdam. Having long aimed for an opportunity abroad, he has previously been strongly linked to clubs such as FC Porto and Napoli.
