Koen Kostons Shines in His First Half-Year in the Eredivisie

Koen Kostons is thriving in his inaugural half-year in the Eredivisie, having already netted eight goals in 17 appearances for PEC Zwolle. The ambitious 26-year-old forward does not view his current club as his final destination.

In an interview with De Limburger, Kostons shared his aspirations, stating, “This has always been my dream: to play in the Eredivisie.” His grandfather Huub played a significant role in his football journey, witnessing Kostons sign with MVV before passing away a year later. “It was wonderful that my grandfather could be there for that moment. I can still picture him sitting in the stands at De Geusselt with my grandmother, wrapped in a blanket.”
