LaLiga has filed a complaint with the Competition Committee regarding the offensive insults and chants heard during the RC Celta de Vigo vs. FC Barcelona match, which took place on November 9, 2025, at the Abanca Balaídos stadium as part of the 12th round of LaLiga EA Sports 2025-26.

According to the report from the Match Director and various official channels monitoring violent, racist, or intolerant behavior, several groups of local fans situated in the Marcador Bajo stand, which belongs to the Celta de Vigo supporters group, engaged in coordinated and collective offensive chanting at various points throughout the match.

Notably, at the 45+4 minute mark, the chant “¡Cornudo, cornudo!” was directed at FC Barcelona player Lamine Yamal for a duration of ten seconds. Other chants included “Písalo, písalo,” aimed at Yamal in the 81st minute and at Christensen in the 90th minute. Additionally, chants of “¡Puta Barça!” were recorded during the 8th, 10th, 61st, 63rd, 81st, and 85th minutes, all coming from the same group of supporters.

In response to these incidents, RC Celta de Vigo released messages in Galician condemning the chants and calling for respect within the stadium. LaLiga underscores that the rest of the Celta supporters maintained proper behavior throughout the match.

Beyond the incidents at the Celta vs. Barcelona match, LaLiga’s report includes other occurrences from the twelfth round.

During the Sevilla vs. Osasuna game on November 8 at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, a group of local fans in the Gol Norte stand chanted “¡Puta Betis oe!” in the 67th minute, and in the 97th minute, they shouted “¡Árbitro cabrón!” which was echoed by sections of the crowd throughout the stadium.

At Vallecas, during the Rayo Vallecano vs. Real Madrid match on November 9, local supporters in the Fondo stand chanted in the 58th minute, “Arriba, arriba, arriba, arriba con la Goma 2, que en Vallecas se prepara, ¡pim pam pum! la Revolución,” and after the final whistle, they repeated “¡Puta Real Madrid, puta Real Madrid!” for several seconds.

In Mestalla, during the Valencia vs. Betis match on the same day, several fans in the Gol Sur/Grada Mario Alberto Kempes area sang “¡Písalo, písalo!” (in the 23rd and 83rd minutes), “¡Tonto, tonto!” (in the 62nd minute), and “¡Puta Betis, oe!” (in the 76th minute), seemingly directed at visiting players.
