LaLiga has filed a formal complaint regarding violent incidents that occurred during the latest matchday, citing offensive remarks made by Osasuna fans directed at the King, Spain, the national team, and Atlético de Madrid, as well as derogatory chants aimed at Athletic Club players Nico Williams and Oihan Sancet during the match against Barcelona at Camp Nou.

In the weekly report submitted to the Spanish Football Federation’s Disciplinary Committee (RFEF) and the Anti-Violence Commission, LaLiga documented three incidents from the Osasuna-Real Sociedad match. Among these was a chant that stated, “Spain is rubbish, the king is a fascist, and all his vassals are sons of bitches,” sung by a group of local supporters.

The report also noted that during the Barcelona-Athletic Club match, insults were directed at the visiting team and Real Madrid by Barcelona fans, alongside chants urging, “step on him, step on him” while Nico Williams was on the ground, and “fool, fool” aimed at Oihan Sancet.

Further, LaLiga reported 14 incidents during the Valencia-Levante match, including insults targeting Levante and the chant, “screw the frog who doesn’t jump, eh!” which was echoed by a significant portion of the attending crowd. Insults aimed at referees were also highlighted in matches such as Betis-Girona and Villarreal-Mallorca, with the term “donkey” being used, as well as additional insults directed at Sevilla during their match at Espanyol.

In connection to the incidents from Matchday 15 of LaLiga Hypermotion, the report indicated that during the Andorra-Castellón match, the referee paused the game temporarily after a snowball thrown by visiting supporters struck an assistant referee. Additionally, a protocol was activated for object-throwing during the Granada-Córdoba match, where insults were also directed at the visiting goalkeeper.

Insults directed at referees, at Celta, and at La Romareda stadium during the Deportivo-Ceuta match, along with comments aimed at the referee during the Burgos-Racing match, as well as at Santander and visiting player Pablo Ramón, were also included in the report.

LaLiga has established the LALIGAVS platform to collect reports, suggestions, and requests from fans attending matches, aiming to contribute to efforts against violence in stadiums. For years, LaLiga has been advocating for greater authority to effectively combat the issue of violence in football.
