Lisci Prepares Osasuna for Challenging Match Against Rayo VallecanoLisci Prepares Osasuna for Challenging Match Against Rayo Vallecano

Ahead of the match at Vallecas, Osasuna’s coach, Alessio Lisci, analyzed the upcoming encounter after a productive week of training. “We want Osasuna to be aggressive and engaged throughout the match. It will be a challenging game due to the difficult conditions of the pitch. The opponent executes their strategies effectively and applies significant pressure. We aim to match their intensity and respond accordingly,” he remarked.

Regarding the acquisition of Raúl Moro, the coach expressed satisfaction with the signing but highlighted the need for his integration into the team to maximize his impact. With the player included in the squad, Lisci noted, “Raúl is not registered yet, but we expect that to be resolved today. He possesses the ability to break through defenses and is very dynamic. I have a meeting scheduled with him to discuss our expectations, review footage, and orient him within our system. It’s clear that a brief conversation won’t lead to immediate perfection, but I believe he can contribute quality minutes to our game.”

On the quest for an away victory, Lisci stated, “Our primary challenge is to perform well, similar to our last away game against Girona. From there, our secondary objective is to secure points. We must focus on our performance, and if we maintain the level displayed in Girona, we will achieve positive results on the road.”

Discussing the significance of facing Rayo Vallecano, he confirmed, “When you encounter a rival with the same number of points, it’s crucial to put forth a strong performance. We need to demonstrate continuity in our efforts. Since the match against Levante, we have been fifth in the standings, which indicates we are in good form, and our goal is to sustain this momentum.”

Lastly, Lisci spoke about Iñigo Pérez, the opposing coach and former player for Osasuna. “He is an excellent coach whom I admire, and he is accomplishing great things at Rayo. It’s evident he is well-regarded here, which is understandable. I first met him when he started as an assistant coach, and we have developed a cordial relationship. I am genuinely pleased for all his successes, except for tomorrow,” he concluded.
