Luciano Valente has become a standout player for Feyenoord this season. The summer acquisition is relishing his time at the club, even amid the sporting challenges faced by the Rotterdam side.

Although Valente did not have an exceptional season with FC Groningen, he was determined to advance his career. His new destination soon became clear. “I wanted to join Feyenoord; it felt right from the start. Thankfully, those around me shared the same sentiment. For my development, it seemed best to remain in the Netherlands,” he stated, as reported by Dagblad van het Noorden.

Valente recognized that a significant challenge awaited him at Feyenoord. “It was up to me to prove that I could perform at a higher level both in the Eredivisie and on the European stage. I believe I have succeeded. This is largely due to the daily push I receive in training, which was lacking at FC Groningen over time,” the midfielder explained. “Despite Feyenoord currently experiencing a difficult phase, I feel positive about my performances.”
