Luciano Valente: Johan Derksen’s Player of the Year in Eredivisie

Johan Derksen has declared Luciano Valente the ‘Player of the Year’ in the Eredivisie, expressing admiration for how quickly the midfielder has become a key player at Feyenoord.

In his podcast, “Groeten uit Grolloo,” Derksen stated, “I consider Valente to be the Player of the Year. It is rare for a player from a provincial club to join Feyenoord and succeed immediately. Often, the anxiety of playing in De Kuip sets in. I have had the opportunity to play in De Kuip several times, and it is truly impressive.
