Marc Guehi, the defender for Crystal Palace and team captain, is reportedly on the radar of multiple European clubs, including Bayern Munich, as he may be available for transfer this month, according to BBC Sport.

Guehi’s current contract with Palace is set to expire this summer, and with the player showing reluctance to extend his tenure, the club could take the proactive step of selling him to avoid losing their key asset for free in the coming months.

As stated by TransferMarkt, Guehi’s transfer value stands at €55 million.

Manchester City, the reigning champions of the Premier League, may consider making a bid for Guehi this month, particularly in light of potential long-term injuries to key defenders Joško Gvardiol and Ruben Dias. This situation could also prompt interest from other major clubs who may have preferred to wait until the summer transfer window.

Additionally, Liverpool has expressed significant interest in Guehi, having come close to finalizing a deal last summer before the transfer fell through on the final day of the window.

Bayern Munich remains attentive to the developments surrounding Guehi, having previously shown interest in securing his services.

Although Bayern has indicated a preference to refrain from winter transfers, with the return of players like Alphonso Davies and Jamal Musiala from injury acting as reinforcements, the need to bolster their defensive lineup may compel them to act sooner rather than later in the transfer market.

Alternatively, Guehi could sign a pre-agreement with a club overseas this month, a strategic move that could enhance Bayern’s chances should the player lean towards a transfer to the Bundesliga.
