Marco Rose Considered for Eintracht Frankfurt Head Coach PositionMarco Rose Considered for Eintracht Frankfurt Head Coach Position

According to reports, Eintracht Frankfurt is targeting Marco Rose as a potential head coach following the dismissal of Dino Toppmöller this past Sunday.

Markus Krösche, the club’s sporting director, is keen on appointing Rose as Toppmöller’s successor, signaling a shift in direction for the team after Toppmöller’s departure.

Rose, who has been without a managerial role since his exit from RB Leipzig in March, has expressed interest in taking over at Frankfurt. However, his current contract with Leipzig poses a barrier, as the club would need to compensate Leipzig to secure his services.

The management at Deutsche Bank Park aims to have the new head coach in place by Saturday’s match against Hoffenheim.

Should negotiations with Rose fall through, other candidates under consideration include Sandro Schwarz, formerly of Mainz and New York Red Bulls; Edin Terzic, a former Borussia Dortmund manager; and Tobias Strobl, who is currently head coach of Verl, and should not be confused with the former midfielder of the same name.
