Mario Been asserts that PSV should make an effort to acquire Tobias Lauritsen from Sparta Rotterdam this winter. The former footballer believes that the Norwegian striker possesses qualities that are currently lacking among the other forwards in Eindhoven.

It is evident that PSV is in need of a new number nine. With Ricardo Pepi, Alassane Pléa, and Myron Boadu all sidelined due to injuries, the situation has worsened with substitute striker Guus Til also unavailable. During the ESPN program “Goedemorgen Eredivisie,” Been posed the question, “Hans (Kraaij), would it be unreasonable to consider a player like Lauritsen?” He emphasized that while PSV has active players, they lack a traditional target man.

Host Milan van Dongen raised concerns about whether Lauritsen meets the level that PSV aspires to achieve. In response, Been countered by questioning, “Is Boadu at PSV’s level?” He highlighted the importance of assessing the current squad’s deficiencies and expressed confidence that Lauritsen would indeed score goals for PSV.
