Match Performance Review: Arsenal vs Bayern

**Daphne van Domselaar (5/10):**
Daphne had a quiet first half, remaining largely a spectator as the hosts struggled against Arsenal’s high press. However, she became more involved in the second half, making several crucial saves. Unfortunately, she was left exposed for Bayern’s first goal, and there was little she could do to prevent the equalizer or the winner.

**Emily Fox (7/10):**
Emily capitalized on a mistake from the Bayern goalkeeper, heading in a loose ball from close range to give Arsenal the lead. In the second half, she was called upon to defend more as Arsenal retreated towards their own goal.

**Stephanie Catley (5/10):**
Stephanie continued her partnership with Wubben-Moy, showcasing commendable pace in her recovery runs. However, she was caught too high up the pitch for Bayern’s goal and failed to close down Harder for the equalizer.

**Lottie Wubben-Moy (5/10):**
Lottie had a performance similar to her defensive partner, Catley. While she generally played well, she was caught flat-footed during a quick Bayern counterattack that led to their first goal. She was also slow to mark Harder for the equalizer.

Chloe, a hero for the England Lionesses, started on the bench and came on in the 60th minute. However, with Arsenal on the defensive, she struggled to make a significant impact.

**Frida Maanum (5/10):**
Frida missed a golden opportunity in the final ten minutes after excellent work from Russo. She will regret the panic that ensued during that chance.

**Kyra Cooney-Cross (5/10):**
Kyra made little impact after coming on with 15 minutes remaining.

**Taylor Hinds (5/10):**
Taylor struggled to influence the match after her introduction, as Bayern mounted consistent attacks.

**Renee Slegers (4/10):**
Renee will be shocked by the final score, especially given her team’s strong first-half performance. However, her side failed to capitalize on Russo’s attacking prowess, allowing Bayern to take complete control in the second half.
