omidbasir- Florian Wirtz has recorded four goals and two assists in his last ten Premier League appearances.

As we approach the critical stages of the season, Fantasy Premier League (FPL) teams are beginning to take shape.

Several clubs possess promising schedules for the upcoming gameweeks, prompting a closer examination of specific teams.

Could integrating more Liverpool players into your lineup be the key to ascending the league table?

FPL expert Heisenberg, alongside the team from the BBC Sport FPL Podcast, evaluates which teams with advantageous fixture lists should be prioritized.

Liverpool’s upcoming fixtures are appealing, and they appear to have regained form following a solid victory against Sunderland. Virgil van Dijk (£5.9m) is my top choice for defenders, but if budget constraints are a concern, Ibrahima Konate (£5.4m) is a worthy alternative.

In terms of attacking options, midfielders Mohamed Salah (£14m), Dominik Szoboszlai (£6.7m), and Florian Wirtz (£8.4m) stand out as viable picks. Their price points vary significantly, so the amount you are willing to invest will influence your selections.

Striker Hugo Ekitike (£8.9m) has struggled recently, yet I remain optimistic about his potential to shine during this favorable fixture run. He boasts ten goals and two assists in 17 starts this season and aims to enhance those statistics in the coming weeks.

Former Everton midfielder Leon Osman, a guest on the podcast this week, has included Wirtz in his lineup.

“Liverpool are performing better now. Salah is stepping up his game. I have reluctantly included a Liverpool player in my team due to their improved form,” he stated.

“It’s against the rules of my family mini-league, so I’ve opted for Florian Wirtz, who has been involved in both goals and assists for Liverpool.

“Interestingly, he has been somewhat more consistent than Mo Salah this season, which is a surprising observation.”

Brentford also benefits from a favorable fixture shift. The standout choice is Igor Thiago (£7m), who is on penalty duties and has tallied 17 goals and one assist in 25 starts this season.

In addition to Thiago, a gamble on Dango Ouattara (£5.8m) or Kevin Schade (£6.9m) could yield positive results. Defensively, Caoimhin Kelleher presents a solid option for clean sheets. Kelleher (£4.6m) has also demonstrated his proficiency in saving penalties, having stopped three in the Premier League this season.

Statman Dave noted, “Schade is a player we have been advocating for this season. Ouattara is another strong option. We could also consider [Michael] Kayode. Currently, I would favor Ouattara over Schade.”

For defenders, options like [Nathan] Collins, Kayode, and [Sepp] van den Berg are worth considering.

Bournemouth faces an exceptionally favorable run of fixtures in the next four games, and I must highlight £4.0m defender James Hill, who has been contributing assists, defensive efforts, and bonus points.

Eli Junior Kroupi (£4.7m) is another excellent budget-friendly choice, but if you’re looking for a forward, I recommend investing a bit more to secure Evanilson (£7m), who appears more likely to receive consistent minutes.

In midfield, two additional budget-friendly options to contemplate are Rayan (£5.5m) and Amine Adli (£5.4m). If I had to choose between the two, I would lean slightly towards Rayan, although the decision is quite close!
