Maya Jama Balances Love Island Duties and Relationship with DiasMaya Jama Balances Love Island Duties and Relationship with Dias

omidbasir- Maya Jama has traveled to South Africa for her hosting duties on Love Island, resulting in some time apart from her partner, Dias. The couple has made headlines recently, sharing vacation photos from various sunny destinations around the globe. During the festive season, Jama was also seen supporting Dias at the City Ground when Manchester City faced Nottingham Forest.

As she embarks on her busy schedule for the 2026 All Stars edition of Love Island, Jama has decided against permanently relocating to Cape Town. Given Dias’s demanding football schedule, which offers little time for breaks, Jama intends to return to the UK frequently during her production breaks.

The finale of the popular show is scheduled for February 23, 2026. Although Jama is back in South Africa, she is already missing Dias. She recently shared a video of fan-made edits of Dias on Instagram, expressing her feelings by stating, “Spent my car journey watching TikTok fan edits because I miss him already.”

While Jama works on Love Island: All Stars, Dias is focused on his recovery from injury. The center-back has not played since Manchester City’s 1-1 draw against Chelsea at the start of January, although he is expected to return soon. He will not participate in the upcoming match against Galatasaray in the final league phase of the 2025-26 Champions League on Wednesday, but may be back in time for the game against Liverpool on February 8. His return will be welcomed by Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, who is currently facing defensive challenges with key players like John Stones and Josko Gvardiol also sidelined.

Towards the end of 2025, Jama and Dias were spotted house-hunting together. Reports suggest they have viewed a £4 million mansion in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, on multiple occasions, indicating they may be preparing to establish a home together.
