Earlier this year, the couple went public with their relationship, and currently, they appear to be very much in love. The TV personality has attended numerous City matches over the past 12 months, primarily at the Etihad Stadium. However, this weekend marked her debut in the away section, as she joined City supporters to witness their Premier League triumph over Nottingham Forest.

Following the match, she shared a photo and video on Instagram, expressing, “It was a whole different experience being in the crowd at an away game.”

Manchester City displayed remarkable grit and determination to secure three points against Nottingham Forest, with Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki finding the net in the victory. This win extended their winning streak to eight games across all competitions, leading manager Pep Guardiola to comment that the team would have likely lost a match like this last season, when they finished third, significantly behind league champions Liverpool.

Guardiola stated, “It’s more important how you suffer, how you defend, accept you’re not playing well, and can be better while remaining in the game; otherwise, there is no chance. Last season, we would have lost this match 10 for 10. For a long time, the team has wanted to achieve this, and it’s great to finish the first leg of the season with such important three points. They may be just three points, but they are truly significant, especially considering the quality of the opposition. Sean Dyche has built a solid team that was competing for the Champions League just a few months ago. It’s a top side. I recognize that their current momentum may not be favorable, but that does not alter the quality of the team.”

Rayan Cherki’s signing from Lyon for an initial fee of £30.5 million ($41 million) earlier this summer went relatively unnoticed, but he is now making a significant impact for Manchester City. Since the beginning of November, only teammate Erling Haaland (with eight goals and three assists) and Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes (three goals and six assists) have been involved in more Premier League goals than Cherki, who has contributed one goal and seven assists. The 22-year-old has also provided more assists than any other player across the top five European leagues during this period.

In an interview with BBC Match of the Day, the France international remarked, “We knew coming to Nottingham would be very complicated because Forest is an excellent team. We are very proud to have won the game. I recognize my capabilities and delivered a good pass to Tijjani Reijnders, who executed a fantastic finish. I take great pride in our team’s performance because today represents a significant victory. Coming here, you know Nottingham Forest is a formidable team with many talented players. I am delighted to contribute to my team’s success; the season is long, and we need every point. While I always aim to score goals, that is not my primary role—Erling is here for that! My focus is on providing my teammates with quality passes, and I am very proud of that.”

As City sits two points behind league leaders Arsenal in second place, they face a challenging trip to Premier League newcomers Sunderland on January 1, 2026. Sunderland remains unbeaten at home this season, and Guardiola’s team could ascend to the top of the table if third-placed Aston Villa manages to defeat the Gunners on Tuesday.
